Brig will play Ball for the second time in cups this season looking for a bit of revenge after an extra time defeat last time out. Brig should have all players available again with Barney, Reid and Simpson back in the fold and Stephen returns again to add some extra fire power up front.
Brig are safely through to the next round of the cup against Ballinluig after coming back from behind twice to see off a plucky Kinrossie side. Not having played a game for a few months was easy to see early on in this one with individual errors costing Brig dear and gifting kinrossie two goals. Brig were creating plenty chances and when a Burry header came back of the bar Mathews was quickest to react to draw it level at 1-1. Into the second half Mathews racked up another four without reply and it could have been more but some selfish play and poor finishing left the score at five. Zieba, Ness and Findlay claimed the assists.
